Barista/Cashier

Our "Proudly Pouring" Starbucks location is interviewing candidates for the Barista position. The main responsibility for this position is to deliver world-class service and product to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner.

Key Requirements:

· Experience in cash handling and customer service

· Ability to greet customers accurately take and confirm orders, suggestively sell food items to compliment guest experience, use POS, prioritize work, deliver food, close checks and handle cash/credit card procedures.

Responsibilities:

· Answering Phones - taking down delivery orders and answering any and all questions a guest may have.

. Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every cup/dish on the menu

· Preparing and delivering orders to guest quickly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service

· Clear professional communication with management and front of house teams

· Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

. Opening and/or Closing the store

· Accurately take and place guest orders in POS

· Handle cash, credit and comp transactions

· Open, close and settle all forms of payment

· Food safety and sanitation, proper food handling procedures

. Restocking stations when low and making sure the restaurant is sparkling clean

. Helping out with any and all other restaurant related tasks asked by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
