We are looking for a part-time (15-25 hours/week) DSP to work in our Windham Community Support program supporting individuals in a variety of activities with goals that relate to person centered plans. Activities include kayaking, hiking, camping, skiing, and other outdoor workshops, exercise, art, music and cooking and a variety of community activities that build self-esteem, assertiveness, self-advocacy and life skills in the adults with whom we support. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care.
- Utilize first aid skills when necessary and observe patients for any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the well-being and comfort of the individuals.
- Engage individuals in social activities and promote their independence and well-being.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
