Position Overview:
As a Residential Energy Modeler, your primary focus will be data entry for residential home projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the creation of accurate residential home energy models, tracking project data, identifying trends for continuous improvement and developing an efficient process for yourself and your team.
The ideal candidate exhibits a strong attention to detail, demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, and possesses a strong mechanical aptitude. While prior experience in residential energy modeling or construction design is a plus, it is not a prerequisite. What matters most is your passion for learning, adaptability, and a steadfast commitment to producing exceptional work.

- Team Collaboration: Proven success in working with teams and coordinating with different builders and subcontractors.

- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using modeling software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools (training provided).
- Willingness to Learn: Open to learning new processes, adjusting to evolving project needs and able to draw conclusions.
- Open to Constructive Feedback: Open mindset of the issues with projects are not a personal reflection and rather a necessary part of the learning curve with the role.
Pay / Benefits:
- Monday thru Friday, typically 8am – 4pm, summer hours 6am-2pm
- 4 Day Work Schedule after 6 months
- We’ve adopted a four-day work week (still 100% paid!), we call it the Gift of the 5th. We work hard and smart and as efficiently as possible as a result to get more done in less time. There may be times where things get busy and people put some extra time in but that’s rare.
- $20 and above based on industry experience - pay increases available with additional certifications
