The Automation Intern will experience being a part of such a team.
Job Summary : We seek a talented, engineering-based intern to join us for a collaborative experience to gain practical experience and insights; builds effective communication skills; and perform value added support for the automation team. This work is geared to strengthen the interns abilities, resume and interest in engineering and MMG as an organization. The intern will produce monthly summary reports and a final report submitted to the engineering school and MMG. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : ? Study MMG metal fabrication, machining and assembly processes and consider the potential for automation solutions with the automation team? To experience practical automation designs, observe solution in use and participate in the acceptance testing for new solutions? Participate in the teams conceptualization and design reviews
Essential Requirement : ? The intern is a current student enrolled in a relevant engineering degree program
Applicable Competencies : ? Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems in stipulated time? Project Management concepts? Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities? Well-versed in computer science, applied physics, and mechanics? Strong Communication skills (written and public speaking)
