Job Summary:
As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will be responsible for producing precision metal parts from Aluminum, Steel, Brass, and Copper using CNC machine tools. You will review blueprints and/or written specifications, write programs, and apply machine tool math to ensure accurate production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret blueprints and/or written specifications
- Write programs and apply machine tool math
- Set-up controls and make cuts to produce machined parts
- Monitor feed rate and speed of machine
- Perform standard preventative maintenance procedures
- Utilize specialized inspection tools to check tolerances
- Maintain quality control procedures
- Work within a visual Lean Manufacturing Environment/System
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of the time; lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Clear close vision for inspection of parts
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
