We are currently looking to fill two positions within our Residential Recovery Program. One is a daytime position, and the other is an overnight one.
Job Summary
The Recovery Coach plays a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction and mental health challenges. This position involves providing guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance to clients, helping them navigate their recovery process. The Recovery Coach will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized recovery plans, facilitate access to resources, and promote overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Establish a trusting relationship with clients to foster open communication and support.
- Assist clients in identifying personal goals and developing actionable plans for recovery.
- Provide crisis intervention and management as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being.
- Facilitate access to community resources, including behavioral health services, support groups, and housing assistance.
- Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and commitment to their recovery journey.
- Offer mentoring and guidance based on personal experience with recovery or relevant training.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Proficient in crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
- Experience or training in addiction counseling and mental health counseling preferred.
- Ability to apply motivational interviewing methods effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on mentoring and supporting individuals in recovery.
- Knowledge of social work principles and community resources related to addiction and mental health support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.54 - $17.00 per hour
