Job Summary:

Responsible for overall completion and satisfaction of repairs completed at the dealership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete basic to complex repairs without immediate supervision
Will perform repairs not limited to: heavy and medium duty engine work, drive trains, hydraulics, preventative maintenance, and electrical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
Help maintain cleanliness and order in work area.
Responsible for reading shop manuals and using tools efficiently.
Responsible for keeping current with changes in technology utilizing company dealership training and industry training.
Make suggestions and share ideas with the service manager to move the company forward and grow the department.
Responsible for other duties as required or assigned.

High School Diploma or GED. Industry experience and/or formal training is preferred. Own or purchase a basic set of tools and lockable toolbox is preferred. Be a team player while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment; with ability to read, comprehend instructions, take direction and complete tasks as assigned.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $25.00 - $30.00. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
