Position Overview:
The Daycare Floater plays a crucial role in ensuring that all classrooms run smoothly by offering support where needed throughout the daycare center. They assist in maintaining an engaging, safe, and positive environment for children by working with teachers, covering breaks, and stepping in when extra help is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist lead and assistant teachers in various classrooms, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Supervision: Monitor children during activities, playtime, and transitions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Break Coverage: Provide coverage for teachers during lunch breaks, planning times, and absences.
- Child Interaction: Engage with children through play, educational activities, and conversation, fostering their development.
- Classroom Management: Help maintain a clean, organized, and structured environment.
- Transitions: Assist with child transitions between activities and locations (e.g., classroom to playground, lunchroom, etc.).
- Diapering and Potty Training: Support teachers with diaper changes, potty training, and other hygiene-related tasks as needed.
- Cleaning: Help sanitize toys, classroom materials, and surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Parent Communication: Occasionally communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up times, ensuring they are informed of their child's day.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
