Restaurant Server

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Server to create memorable dining experiences. As a face of our restaurant you are responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

MoMo Pizzeria & Ristorante is a locally owned and operated restaurant and just celebrated our eighth anniversary. All of our dishes are created by our talented culinary team and prepared from scratch. We feature an extensive wine list, specialty craft cocktails and wide variety of beer featuring local favorites.

Our team is passionate about food and drink and enjoy sharing that with our guests. We are team oriented and a tight knit group. Our staff builds lasting relationships with our guests and are able to provide them with their favorite cocktails, menu items and make suggestions on their preferences on future visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entry and once seated
• Feature restaurant menus, daily and weekly specials and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders efficiently and in a timely manner
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary product
• Invest personal time to study and learn our products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude and inform management
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience in high volume environment
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Strict adherence to Lancaster County Health Codes
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Team Oriented
• Organized and practice time management and multi tasking
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Current Lancaster County Food Handler's and Beverage Permits
