What You’ll Do:
Assist the acquisitions team in evaluating potential real estate investments by preparing financial models, projections, and analyses.
Participate in the preparation and presentation of models, communicating assumptions and changes effectively to team members and partners.
Support the leasing team by participating in tenant negotiations, market analysis, and developing occupancy strategies to maximize property performance.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support property sales efforts, including market research and preparation of sales materials.
Review and analyze real estate documents, such as rent rolls, operating statements, and lease agreements, as part of the underwriting and leasing processes.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of analytical tools and templates, ensuring timely updates and communication with relevant team members.
Gather and analyze market data to inform investment decisions and strategic planning.
Participate in due diligence processes, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively.
Support cross-functional initiatives by working with departments such as asset management, property management, accounting, and legal.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall success of the investment team.
Who You Are:
Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
Experience with financial modeling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Interest in real estate investment and a desire to learn.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Experience or knowledge in real estate is a plus but not required.
Compensation: $20/hour, 40hours/week on-site at Chicago HQ
