What You’ll Do:

• Assist the acquisitions team in evaluating potential real estate investments by preparing financial models, projections, and analyses.

• Participate in the preparation and presentation of models, communicating assumptions and changes effectively to team members and partners.

• Support the leasing team by participating in tenant negotiations, market analysis, and developing occupancy strategies to maximize property performance.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support property sales efforts, including market research and preparation of sales materials.

• Review and analyze real estate documents, such as rent rolls, operating statements, and lease agreements, as part of the underwriting and leasing processes.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of analytical tools and templates, ensuring timely updates and communication with relevant team members.

• Gather and analyze market data to inform investment decisions and strategic planning.

• Participate in due diligence processes, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively.

• Support cross-functional initiatives by working with departments such as asset management, property management, accounting, and legal.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall success of the investment team.

Who You Are:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.

• Experience with financial modeling.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Interest in real estate investment and a desire to learn.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

• Experience or knowledge in real estate is a plus but not required.

Compensation: $20/hour, 40hours/week on-site at Chicago HQ
