Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties, ensuring efficient operations, tenant satisfaction, and financial performance. This individual will lead property management initiatives, implement best practices, and foster strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesProperty & Operational Management- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they meet company standards and investor expectations.
- Develop and implement property management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage service contracts, vendors, and property management team to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal property regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and resolving issues efficiently.
- Assist lease negotiations and renewals, and enforcement of lease terms.
- Implement tenant retention strategies to maintain high occupancy rates.
- Develop and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial performance aligns with company objectives.
- Assist accounting in preparation of financial reports, including operating statements, rent rolls, and variance analyses.
- Optimize revenue streams through rent collection, expense control, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Supervise and mentor on-site property management team members.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with a focus on performance and accountability.
- Ensure staff training and professional development to maintain high service standards.
- 5 years of property management experience, with a strong background in residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
- Proven leadership experience, managing teams and multiple properties effectively.
- Strong knowledge of property management laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) and Microsoft Office.
- Real Estate License or CPM designation (preferred but not required).
