Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. We are currently hiring for both AM/PM Prep Positions as well as AM/PM Cooks. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the food industry, with a focus on food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative input when needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items properly.
- Participate in ongoing training related to culinary skills and food service best practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in a cooking or kitchen role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within the culinary environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting while maintaining attention to detail.
