Benefits and HRIS Support Specialist - Remote or Hybrid

Responsible for supporting all health and welfare benefit plans with regards to reporting, processing, and auditing. Processes HR transactional data in the HRIS system and provide customer service support for HR related questions.

Core Duties

Process payments and billing for various benefit plans.

Process reimbursements to employees for benefit programs like tuition reimbursement and other incentives.

Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant company policies which impact employee benefits.

Generate and understand reports to support the Benefit and HR teams.

Communicate with newly hired employees about the benefit enrollment process and assists with questions and processes.

Process life events and status changes related to benefits and accurately update information in the HRIS.

Oversee the benefit payment process for employees on leave of absence.

Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.

Provides ongoing customer service to employees for HR related questions.

Processes employee transactions in the HRIS system.

Job-Specific

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Communicates effectively and appropriately, selecting the right tone for the situation and audience

Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.

Regional & domestic travel to all Vandalia North facilities may be required.
