Excellent Opportunity for a Board Eligible/Board Certified EM Physician
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine physician to join our team at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. As part of the Mon Health System and Vandalia Health, we offer a comprehensive support network and resources to ensure your success.
Benefits:
- Average annual patient volume of 10,000 with diverse case mix
- Critical Access hospital with 25 beds and 24-hour physician coverage (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
- 12-hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage available
- Hospitalist team handles admissions, minimizing administrative burdens
- Nocturnist on staff covers a minimum of half of nights, ensuring adequate nighttime coverage
We utilize CPSI as our Electronic Medical Record (EMR), with plans to transition to Cerner in the future to align with the system's roadmap. Our location provides easy access to Morgantown, WV (45 minutes), Pittsburgh, PA (1 hour 50 minutes), and various outdoor recreational activities, including skiing, hiking, white water rafting, and kayaking.
Qualifications:
- Board eligible/board certified in EM or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with experience in EM (5 years preferred)
