**Job Summary**
The Hospitalist provides comprehensive clinical care in the inpatient setting, following and directing evidence-based practices established within the Hospital service line. The Hospitalist collaborates and coordinates individual treatment plans with the clinical team as necessary to ensure an appropriate continuum of care.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting*
* Follow and direct evidence-based practices established within the Hospital service line*
* Collaborate and coordinate individual treatment plans with the clinical team*
* Ensure an appropriate continuum of care*
**Qualifications:**
1. Completed approved Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy residency program in a specialty such as Family Medicine or Internal Medicine resulting in board eligibility to board certification*
2. Licensed as a physician to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia*
3. Active WV DEA certificate without restrictions*
4. Current BLS and ACLS required*
5. Credentialed and privileged as a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of Mon Health Medical Center*
