EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- State license as professional Social Worker/Counselor.
- Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or
- LPC or Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) or Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS)
- Care Coordination, Case Management
- Previous education/experience with drug and alcohol programs.
- Mobilizing community resources, navigating patients through the health care continuum, and working with disparate populations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing therapy services to patients and their families as part of the multidisciplinary team with emphasis on group therapy, completing Psychosocial Assessments, assisting in program development, and developing, implementing, and reviewing treatment plans.
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker coordinates team-based care to provide health services to individuals through effective partnerships with patients and their caregivers/families, community resources and their providers.
