Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Licensed Pharmacist, you will dispense and deliver medications and pharmaceutical supplies. You will compound sterile and non-sterile products as required. Your duties will include filling orders, picking and delivering restocks for automated dispensing machines (ADMs), providing basic troubleshooting, pre-packing medications, entering charges and credits into the computer, making rounds to deliver and return medications and IVs, and performing other technical duties as assigned.
You will demonstrate leadership in training new employees, ensuring they attain competencies thoroughly and efficiently. You may also develop advanced skills, such as sterile compounding of Oncology chemotherapeutics or competency in patient-interview skills.
