Job Summary
As a Rad Extern at Mon Health, you will ensure that quality care is given to patients and external customers by assisting in front end Imaging Services. You will assist the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists to provide care to patients.

Rotates in all Diagnostic areas for development of technical skills (Fluoro, Portables, OR, Routine procedures) Maintain knowledge of and observe Imaging Department Policies and Procedures. Participates in coordination of daily workflow by interacting with technologists, nursing staff, and physicians in the facility. Sets up and prepares exam rooms for general and fluoroscopic equipment under supervision of technologist Perform various indirect duties under the direct supervision of a registered Technologist. Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to self and patients. Always remains patient and customer focused utilizing age-appropriate techniques to provide an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care, and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 100 lbs.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Credentials
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
