What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Analyst position at Mon Health?
Job Summary
The Risk Analyst will play an integral role in the retrieval and management of data to support initiatives and investigations of the Risk Program. The Risk Analyst will partner with Risk leadership and Risk managers to understand analytic needs of the program and facilitate the execution of those needs in conjunction with other subject matter experts throughout the system. The Risk Analyst is adept at translating Risk questions to data to information and insights using data visualization and reports. Demonstrates an understanding of general Risk concepts and maintains confidentiality in their assistance with sensitive issues. Maintains a level of cyber security knowledge sufficient to securely accomplish their job duties.
Responsibilities
Development of Comprehensive Reports and Executive Summaries
Heavily supports the risk management process by developing quantitative reports to determine areas of risk and resulting potential exposure. Facilitates the collection, synthesis, and translation of data into information to inform future state process and design requirements related to changing regulations/standards. This includes enhanced knowledge and understanding of several lines of business including both clinical and non-clinical areas.
Participates in Planning with Risk Staff and Retrieves Pertinent Data
Actively participates with Risk staff to plan for meetings, presentations and reporting. Is responsible for the compilation of data from multiple sources for reporting purposes. Will analyze data to spot trends.
Development and Monitoring of Risk Dashboards
Will compile and filter data for use in Risk Dashboards. Will serve as the liaison between the Risk Department and IT for issues involving data validity and integrity. Assists in preparation and reporting for System Risk Meeting.
Insurance and Safety Program Support
Assists in compilation of data for insurance renewals, monitoring and reporting. Supports the Risk Manager, Insurance and Safety in initiatives to mitigate risk to the organization. Facilitates the process to compile the necessary information for insurance renewals.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
0-3 years of Healthcare or related experience.
