What are the responsibilities and job description for the ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST position at Mon Health?
JOB SUMMARY
As an Ultrasound Technologist at Mon Health, you will provide quality radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnostic and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders to the patient and self, following all regulatory requirements, and while providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence, one patient at a time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Successful completion of a formal Ultrasound Training Program school or equivalent training as specified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program preferred.
Experience: No experience required. Two years of applicable experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered as RDMS required (OB, AB, or vascular)
- Certified by ARRT and WV Imaging license preferred
- CPR Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently and/or up to 20 lbs constantly.
