Housekeeping and Dietary NEW RATES

Job Type: Full time

Shift: Day Shift

Responsibilities:

• Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures in central bathrooms
• Clean corridor/elevator floors, including vacuum all common areas, carpets, and spot clean
• Clean walls and ceiling by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing in common areas
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions in hallways/elevators.
• Discard waste/trash into proper container and re-line trash receptacle with plastic liner
• Assure that equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift
• Will be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, throughout the workday
• Will be required to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently during working hours
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc.
• Attend and participate in-service educational classes, on-the-job training programs, as scheduled or as directed
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• No experience required, on-the-job training provided
• Must possess desire to be trained

Requirements:

• Must possess a high school diploma /GED
• Must complete a Background Check
• Must successfully pass physical
