Job Description
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
•Participates with Vocational Services Supervisor in the planning, direction, monitoring and execution of all floor care specifications assigned at all sites, during various shifts and with various crew leaders.
•Strives to develop good working relationships with all MYCS consumers/customers and to exceed their expectations for service and quality.
•Consults and assists the Vocational Services Supervisor in the development of janitorial training components and contract completion.
•Attends weekly team meetings with Vocational Services Supervisor.
•Continually develops knowledge of developmental disabilities and positive approaches to working with individuals with disabilities.
•Communicate and document all pertinent customer/consumer information with supervisor, following policies and procedures.
•Provide staffing support and coverage for the crewleaders, up to and including all crewleader responsibilities for completing janitorial contract work, and providing transportation for consumers to and from job sites.
•Maintain tracking mechanism for all non-daily tasks and daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
•Completes all paperwork accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
•Acquire/update practical/technical knowledge and standard operating procedures required for the job, (contract specs, daily request etc.) and informs supervisor of any changes.
•Knows all policy and procedures and compliance plans for MYCS and adhere to them.
•Sets example for others to follow, demonstrates enthusiasm, courtesy and the spirit of cooperation.
•Follow Emergency On-Call policy for assistance with emergencies that may arise with the Vocational Program.
•Maintain good punctuality and attendance.
•Complete 24 hours of staff development training per year.
•REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Associates degree one year of janitorial floor care experience, or high school diploma/GED with 4 years of janitorial experience including one year minimum of floor care experience. Demonstrated knowledge/experience working with persons with disabilities preferred.
2.Available to work evenings and weekends as needed in order to meet contract specifications and program needs.
3.Act 33/34 Clearances.
4.Valid PA driver’s license.
