What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist position at Monadnock Family Services?
Description:
Performs receptionist work to include computerized scheduling of appointments and triaging phone calls. Provides administrative and computer support to staff as it pertains to client data and requests. Completes record requests and document scanning. Provides all other office support functions necessary for the smooth operation of Recovery Services and Adult/ Children’s Outpatient Services.
Requirements:- High school education or equivalent with a minimum of two or more years experience in an office setting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently or as a team, attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with the public, customers, staff, community providers in a professional manner.
- Knowledge about the law and regulations regarding the use and disclosure of patient health information.
- Ability to prioritize job responsibilities, works independently with attention to detail and accuracy. Make sound independent judgments in routine situations and to know when to refer matters to the Team Leader, clinical staff or Program Director.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to learn the agency client database.
