Due to a well deserved internal promotion, our Co-op is currently looking for a Grocery Manager for our busy customer focused grocery department. In this role you will:
Manage all operations and employees in our grocery departments which include Frozen, Dairy, Packaged Goods, Bulk, Wellness, Bread, and Beer & Wine and Provide PIC (person-in-charge) shared store coverage. The ideal candidate will have grocery management experience - preferably in a co-op environment. This experience should include hiring, training, leading, scheduling and supervising staff. Candidates should have ordering, pricing, receiving and inventory management experience. Communication, vendor relation, budgeting, organization skills and a sense of humor are required. Natural and organics knowledge is preferred.
The purpose of this position is to oversee the sub-departments of the Grocery Department: Packaged, Perishables & Frozen, Bread, Beer & Wine, Bulk, and Wellness. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday OR Sunday through Thursday
Pay Range: Begins at $25.32 with additional compensation for experience. This is a salaried position.
