Do you have experience in buying, vendor relation, grocery, produce or a mix of these? If so, we may have the right position for you! Our co-op is currently looking for a Produce Buyer for our busy customer focused Produce department. In this position you will
Select, purchase and promote fresh organic and local produce by working closely with vendors. Supervise staff to meet objectives for sales, margin and customer service. Must enjoy working with the public, have superior customer service and organization skills. Must project a friendly, outgoing personality. This job requires a lot of heavy lifting, 50 pounds on average. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday from 8am to 4pm. Applicants MUST be availabel for this scheduel in order to be considered
Pay Range: Begins at $17.45 with additional compensation for experience
