What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shelter Technician position at Monadnock Humane Society?
We are hiring a full-time Shelter Technician! This position is 40 hours per week, from Friday to Monday. As a Shelter Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the highest standard of care for all shelter animals. You'll be following established policies and procedures to maintain the health, safety, and comfort of each animal.
This role requires more than just animal care—it involves strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once. You'll be interacting regularly with the public, fellow staff members, and volunteers, so a friendly and professional attitude is a must.
