Barback/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The bar back/food runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the food industry and enjoy working in a collaborative atmosphere.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues with orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Handle cash register transactions as needed, ensuring accurate processing of payments.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling practices is highly desirable.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to food service.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
