About us
Monarch Acupuncture & Wellness, located in Walnut Creek, specializes in fertility, women’s health, and perinatal care. We are seeking a new junior acupuncturist to join our team! This is an incredible opportunity to be mentored and trained by two seasoned practitioners with a combined 25 years worth of experience in fertility, women's health and herbal medicine. We are willing to train the right person, who is passionate about women's health and has the time, energy and focus to learn.

The ideal candidate is trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent, and excels at holding space. Many of our clients are undergoing difficult or otherwise transformative seasons in their lives and the most successful practitioners here are those who can cultivate authentic and meaningful patient relationships. We see two clients an hour and we use most of the intake time to talk with our patients.
Qualified candidates should have the following:
● Degree (or soon to graduate, in next six months) from an accredited acupuncture school and a license in the state of
California (or a sitting date for the board exam within 8 months). You must provide your own Malpractice Insurance and keep CEU requirements and licenses active and current. We provide office liability insurance.
● Solid and demonstrated knowledge of acupuncture, TCM, and Chinese herbal medicine.
● A willingness to study and sit for the ABORM exam within your first two years of employment.
● Proactive attitude in reaching out to local professionals to expand our referral network, as well as the ability to follow up with lapsed patients, and to ask for reviews and referrals from current patients.
