Monarch Behavioral Health is hiring fully licensed mental health professionals who are interested in providing quality therapeutic services to clients in Texas. We are looking for licensed professionals (Psy.D./Ph.D. Licensed Psychologist, LPCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, LMSWs), and post-doctoral fellows who want to be a part of a thriving group practice that offers mentoring, teamwork, self-discovery, and growth as a clinician. We are located in the Stone Oak neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas, and offer in-person and virtual sessions.
MBH therapists are passionate about new evidence-based and informed treatment approaches, specialty training, collaborating with colleagues, and assisting in transformational change within our clients. Our positions are fee-for-service and you would be joining our private group practice which opens doors for consultation, training, and learning among colleagues. As a professional behavioral health counselor, you will be working directly with your ideal client - the client population of your choosing, and a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
We are searching for our next licensed trauma-focused counselor with experience using trauma-focused interventions & from a holistic perspective who has experience with:
- adolescents, adults, and their families using evidence-based interventions including:
- Sand Tray, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, ACT, ERP, DBT, EMDR, Tapping, & other evidence-based trauma therapy techniques
- Treatment planning
- Diagnostic knowledge
- Maintaining a caseload of 15 clients and keeping accurate session notes
- Attending staff meetings

- Demonstrate competency in utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches
- Establish client goals, monitor progress, and modify the client's treatment plans every 90 days
- Specialty training is encouraged
- Availability for at least 15 client hours/week part-time or 25-30 client hours for full-time
- Daytime, After school/Evening & Weekend Hours
- Provide services within the highest standard of professional ethics and sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and team members
- Excellent interpersonal skills including assertive communication
- Be organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently, yet ask for help when needed

- A master's or doctorate degree from a nationally accredited program must be completed
- One year of post-internship experience is preferred.
- Current Texas license or license eligible in Texas (licensed psychologist, LPA, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMSW)
- Willing to consider an associate clinician who is able to obtain licensure in 2 months or a postdoctoral candidate with at least two years of direct client contact.
*Clinical supervision can be provided to LMSWs, LPAs, and pre and post-doctoral fellows.
