Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Monarch Casino Resort & Spa Black Hawk. As a key member of our Engineering/Facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular checks on electrical, lighting, and temperature control systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Perform maintenance duties throughout the casino, including fixing machinery and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Operate lifts safely and efficiently to perform job duties.
- Report any failures in casino lighting fixtures, electrical systems, or temperature control units.
Requirements
- General knowledge of repairs, including wood furniture, carpet, drywall, paint, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA safety certifications.
- Ability to operate power and hand tools required.
- Ability to work from schematics, blueprints, sketches, or verbal directions.
