This position is responsible for managing projects for a highly collaborative, driven team tackling a technology diverse environment across various technology domains managing projects leveraging a cross-functional team of internal and vendor resources. This position offers the opportunity to participate in technology strategy for the entire enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of projects in a technology-diverse environment, ensuring timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with organizational goals while maintaining momentum and overcoming roadblocks effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to define clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables, focusing on cybersecurity and technical requirements, and develop detailed project plans including milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams by providing clear guidance, support, and direction throughout the project lifecycle while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and assess project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation plans, managing change requests, and evaluating their impact on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Track project performance against milestones, address deviations proactively, and maintain open communication with stakeholders by delivering regular updates, progress reports, and presentations to ensure alignment.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensure expenditures are within approved limits, and optimize resource allocation by coordinating with resource managers to align skills with project needs.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements while contributing to the design and implementation of IT project processes to effectively meet a demanding project pipeline.
- Create, maintain, and organize project and technical documentation for all relevant systems and processes.
