We are currently hiring a Claims Examiner to manage, investigate and negotiate claims. The Claims Examiner position is a challenging and rewarding position that will allow you to serve as a liaison between insurance carriers, clients and other parties involved in the claim. The ideal candidate will have a background in property claims, knowledge of policies and coverages and strong negotiating skills.

Qualifications:
- Possess Public Adjuster 320 or 620 license or ability to get licensed within the first 45 days
- 2 years of claims handling experience
- Decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Experience evaluating property damage estimates (i.e., Xactimate)
- Knowledge of insurance policies and coverages
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills is a must
- Attentive to details and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between insurance companies, adjusters, clients and other parties
- Review documents and correspondence, including insurance policies, letters from carriers, estimates, reports, invoices and other related documents
- Prepare formal documents for submission to carriers in response to requests for information
- Gather information and documents from insureds and assist in completing documents requested by carriers
- Provide clients with regular updates throughout the claim process
- Schedule and conduct recorded statements
- Offer direct support to in-house adjusters and other teams as needed
- Accurate Data Entry into multiple systems
- Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Multi-task via phone and email
- General Office Duties
- Other related duties as assigned
Compensation, Benefits & Training:
- $40,000/year plus commissions
