Armed Security Guard - Must have Level 3 Card in Hand

Monarch Executive Protection Services has security positions and is seeking to fill the positions for an ARMED SECURITY OFFICER. These positions allow us to contribute to our company’s most important value of providing unequaled service, security and care for the businesses and people in our communities.

An ARMED SECURITY OFFICER is on location to act as a deterrent to any criminal activity and provide the sense of security for the area that they are visible to. They must show a neat and professional demeanor in wearing a proper uniform and correct equipment while also having a servant’s heart.

Essential Job Duties:

Security -

• Secures assigned premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; ensuring facilities and restricted areas are appropriately secured and controlling/permitting entry for associates and non-associates.

• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; identifies and addresses policy infractions with violators; investigates hazards and unusual or suspicious circumstances.

Customer Service/ Engagement -

• Must provide excellent customer service to all associates, clients, and guests as a vital ambassador of Monarch.

• Security Officers must be engaging, approachable, and friendly while also demonstrating a high degree of professionalism and diligence when interacting with peers, associates, clients, guests, and others.

Administrative -

• Prepare incident reports to include recording observations, information, occurrences, activities, and interviewing witnesses.

Requirements:

• Military, prior law enforcement, or 1-2 years security experience, is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at interview.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet all applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers and Drivers.
• Must have valid, current driver’s license.
• Valid Level III Commissioned Security Officer License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Regulatory Services Division.
• Must pass a background check. No criminal cases pending.
• Understanding of basic security operations and applications.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
• Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills.
• Firearms proficiency and basic first aid are mandatory.

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:

As a Security Officer you are expected to be able to respond quickly to security-related events and medical incidents, lift or carry equipment, participate in defensive tactics/personal protection training and numerous other physically demanding tasks.

You may be required to stand for extended periods of time while wearing personal protective equipment. You may occasionally be required to lift up to 40 pounds. You will be expected to patrol areas of assigned responsibility on foot or by vehicle.

Initiative to further yourself physically and through immense real-world training is required. We strive to remain as tactically proficient as possible.
