Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of scheduling functions for the company and is responsible for maintaining all scheduling configurations within the scheduling software. This positionexercises discretion and independent judgement in both ensuring proper staffing in accordance with facility requirementsand guaranteeing employeesatisfaction related to scheduling.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborates with recruiting and/or human resources to ensure schedule patterns are implemented for all new hires.
- Manages and inputs all new employee schedule patterns and processes all ongoing schedule pattern changes.
- Audits facility schedule planners to ensure patterns are being maintained and the facility is scheduling and is staffed appropriately.
- Collaborates with the payroll department to identify facilities that are not maintaining daily schedule changes; implements and leads improvement plan for identified facilities.
- Provides continous training and support to facility Department Directors and nursing Schedulers on all areas of scheduling.
- Manages and updates all facility nursing staffing models and scheduling configurations within the company's scheduling software.
Qualifications:
Required:
At least 2 years of experience in scheduling in a healthcare setting.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred:
Degree in Human Resources, Organizational or Strategic Management, or equivalent.
Experience in HRIS software.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Familiar with office equipment and proficient in typing and/or computer skills.
Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
