This role is based in Franktown, Colorado. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. This role will travel 20% - 50% of the time throughout their designated portfolio, East & West Wichita.
The Multifamily Housing Asset Manager Grows the Monarch portfolio by acquiring multifamily housing properties. Subsequently oversees all aspects of the administrative, financial, capital, and operational needs of the assigned portfolio.

A little about the role (Full JD will be supplied with application):
- Evaluates and recommend the purchase or sale of an asset, underwriting potential acquisitions
- Organize and execute due diligence and acquisition closings, including financial and operational assumption reviews
- Organize and execute the preparation and approval process of property operating budgets
- Maximize total return for each assigned asset through property efficiency analysis and identification of opportunities for Quarter-over-Quarter improvement
- Develop and analyze 3, 5, and 10-year capital needs assessments for assets
- Prepare capital plans throughout the life of each asset’s loan, analyzing debt-to-market value ratios and loan rates to determine if assets should be refinanced or restructured
- Direct goals and objectives for each property, including oversight of local/regional property management and personnel issues
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting including but not limited to financial analysis, market studies, and other industry standard reporting (such as variance reporting, discounted cash flows, IRR’s, etc.)
- Review operating statements monthly
- Develop relationships with brokers and lenders to maximize Monarch’s position when deals are available
- Actively support and foster an environment that encourages great employee and team development
- Participate in Team Relations initiatives and conducting local employee engagement activities
- Promote and exemplify the Monarch brand and culture through daily influence and actions
Some of what the ideal candidate will have:
- 5-7 years' experience in multifamily operations
- 2-4 years proven multifamily housing asset management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in business, finance, accounting, and/or real estate preferred
- Experience overseeing multisite apartment communities across a geographical area
- Must demonstrate ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis including but not limited to ROI and cash-on-cash yield
