Our national portfolio currently consists of ownership and self-management of apartment communities in 22 states and growing. We are actively interviewing for a Traveling Property Manager Trainer to join our national training department.
Purpose of the Role: The Traveling Property Manager Trainer will mentor and train other employees, including but not limited to Property Managers. They will temporarily manage properties in need, due to vacancy and/or new purchases throughout Monarch’s nationwide portfolio.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Trains and instructs all on-site employees to ensure job duties, responsibilities, expectations and company policies are clearly understood; or arrange for training to be provided
- Conducts evaluations to identify areas of improvement
- Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as onboarding training, on-the-job training and refresher training
- Operates or assist in the operation of property/s within their group financial guidelines (The Budget)
- Ensures properties are leased at or above market occupancy and rent levels
- Ensures all property marketing is current, accurate, relevant and at its greatest effect
- Directs activities of all on-site personnel, office, maintenance, grounds and housekeeping
- Process all invoices generated by the property and insure they are paid in a timely manner
- Post, collect, track and manage delinquency of rental and other income
- Responsible for building and maintaining a community of residents through resident relations
- Ensure desired tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 Years’ property management experience in multifamily housing required
- Ability to self-direct and to prioritize multiple projects
- Training experience a plus and preferred
- This position requires travel up to 75% of the time
