What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Apartment Maintenance position at Monarch Investment and Management Group?
Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Mountaineer Village Apartments in Gunnison. Mountaineer Village is conveniently located beside the Meadow's Park, right across from Western State Colorado University campus and walking distance to Wal-Mart, City Market, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. We are offering up to $20/hrs
Monarch Investment & Management Group has been actively involved in commercial real estate investment since 1992. We currently manage over 75,000 apartment units in 22 states, making us the 8th largest multifamily owner in the country per NMHC (2024). In addition, Monarch's ownership also operates Monarch Ski Area near Salida, CO.
Pay: $18-$20/hrs plus on call bonus
Essential Job Duties and/or oversight Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
- Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
- Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
- Exterior structural maintenance as needed
- Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- 6 months’ experience in general maintenance
- Dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
- Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
- Have good verbal and written communication
- Problem solving skills
- Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
