Monarch Investment and Management Group, AKA “MIMG” is actively interviewing qualified Web Developers (.Net) to jump on board with us in Grand Rapids, MI.
The Website Developer ensures new and existing Monarch websites are as adaptable and efficient as possible to support, streamline, and optimize MIMG’s business operations and user experiences. Uses discretion and independent judgment to create, implement, maintain, anticipate issues, identify areas of opportunity, and develop creative solutions.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains processes and content for our investor and employee websites webpages.
- Partners with other departments to assess needs and viability of potential processes and projects.
- Forms development implementation plans/timelines from defined requirements.
- Assists in migrating legacy projects from VB.Net/Webforms to the current stack.
- Evaluates current stack for framework upgrades or improvements (including but not limited to potential migrations to cloud technologies).
- Suggests and implements website and process improvements.
- Monitors and resolves support tickets, logged, and unlogged errors for issues.
- Monitors and develops API & SSIS integrations with other systems as needed.
- Creates new batch files or integrations to monitor ongoing processes.
- Partners across departments and teams to build, maintain, evaluate, and improve processes and reporting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience maintaining and developing Net Core, C# (with Entity Framework), and ReactJs or a similar frontend framework.
- Proficiency using MS SQL Server – All CRUD queries, stored procedures, custom functions, query optimization, user/permission setup, backups including differential & transaction log backups
- Knowledge of webhooks and API querying via HTTP Request
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL preferred
- Experience converting Vb.Net projects to C# preferred
- Windows Server Administration including IIS & mail server administration preferred
- Experience with DocuSign, Sharefile, Facebook, Instagram, and Jobvite APIs preferred
SSRS Reporting
- Python or JavaScript (jQuery) preferred
- SSRS or PowerBi paginated reports preferred

- $70,000 to $100,000 year based on experience with the high end for a Sr. level applicant
