What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Drafter and CNC Plasma Table Operator position at Monarch Iron?
,Monarch Iron is a privately-owned business formed in 2007.
Our core business is fabricating and installing commercial structural iron, and ornamental iron for residential applications. www.monarchiron.com will fill you in.
Departments / Positions include Project Managers, Fab Shop Foreman, plus Shop and Field Crews. Currently, our total staffing level is 28.
In 2022, Monarch completed construction of a new 10,800 SF facility on a 5-acre tract south of Durango, CO.
Our goal is to continue growing in a controlled, sane, and organized manner, and for this we require exceptional personnel.
Core Duties:
- Produce DXF drawings from production prints for structural and ornamental metal components
- Operate a CNC plasma burn table to manufacture said components
- Additional CNC equipment is planned
- Operate forklift
- Maintain your workstation
- Assist with other shop functions
Skill Set:
- Physically fit and drug-free; able to lift heavy materials
- CAD drawing and CNC savvy
- Great attitude and work ethic; plays well with others
- Organized and initiative-taking
- Experience - Preferably 1 years

Base Pay: Ranges from $20-$24 per hour.
