What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Monarch Manufacturing?
We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail, have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to incorporate new and effective ways to achieve better results.
As an Office Assistant you will interact with all departments and a variety of personnel throughout the company. You will be responsible for executing day to day financial transactions, including purchase orders, receiving, while also handling vendor correspondence regarding invoicing and payments. You must be able to perform these duties under time pressures and deadlines.
High school diploma with account receivable or accounts payable experience. Two year college degree with accounting emphasis is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks, and work independently is required. Reconciliation, finance, general ledger, accounting, bookkeeping, and accounting software experience is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
