THE ROLE
The Quality Control and Documentation Control Specialist supports the Quality and Document Control operations for the company, including the coordination, issuance, reconciliation, and management of all records and Quality System documentation (Deviations, CAPA’s, Complaints, etc.). In addition they are responsible for the company’s Production Part Approval Process or PPAP.
To be the subject matter expert on all quality systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports all activities for the QA/QC teams.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate printed and specification information in compliance with customer requirements.
- Coordinates with production teams to ensure timely issuance of all products.
- Performs training of product control issuance requirements for internal personnel as needed.
- Ensures standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to job responsibilities define the steps necessary to complete tasks, etc. Writes, reviews, and updates SOPs as required.
- Provides support during internal and customer audits of the facility.
- Knowledge of and ability to prepare and implement quality processes, change control, product complaints, deviations, investigations, and CAPA management.
- Performs supplemental investigations/projects as required by Management.
- Manages documentation control areas.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for Monarch’s QMS and QC Procedure Book.
- Maintains knowledge of current Production Part Approval Process or PPAP and manufacturing guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a Science or Manufacturing related field strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Quality Control.
- Familiarity with QMS or similar systems.
- Experience with Excel and Word.
- Experience hosting/performing internal and external audits.
