Monarch Products is a family-owned 3rd generation business and a leading precast concrete producer servicing south central Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. We make precast concrete products for sanitary and storm water management along with products for the communication, electrical, and transportation industries. Summary:
Our project management team works with engineered plan sets to provide custom stormwater and sanitary sewer precast concrete structures to our customers. In this role you will read, interpret, and compile structure information from plans and specifications. You will provide submittal drawings to customers for every structure on a project then oversee their production. You will communicate directly with clients to understand the specific needs of each job. You will follow through with each project to ensure a successful product and customer satisfaction.
As this is a unique industry, we will provide the training for you to excel in this position. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with project management skills to put them to use in a new industry while advancing their career in many other aspects as an integral team member.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plans and specifications with high attention to details
- Compile information to estimate costs based on plans and specifications
- Enter project information into computer database program
- Provide submittal drawings for each project to customers
- Communicate effectively with customers by phone and email
- Create drawings for our shop to build each unique piece on a project
- Take ownership of each customer contact
Necessary Requirements:
- Minimum two years experience in the construction industry
- Must have computer/office experience
- Applicants should live within a commutable distance
- Detail oriented
- Strong, persuasive personality
- Four year college degree
- Ability to learn quickly through on the job training
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Microsoft Office skills
