What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Counselor position at Monarch Trauma Counseling Center?
Local busy private practice seeking independent contractual mental health therapist to provide mental health treatment to children, adults, and families. Part time positions available.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide individual and family trauma and loss counseling in a private practice setting. Therapist is responsible for collaboration with other service providers on a regular basis. Experience working with varying ages and mental health diagnoses required.
Qualifications and Experience: Individual must possess an Illinois Clinical License to practice mental health. Candidate must have experience in trauma therapy. Background check and a valid driver's license required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Candidate must demonstrate significant knowledge regarding, behavioral health, child abuse and child safety, possess knowledge of evidence-based trauma treatment, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills.
Monthly consultation, secretarial support provided, as well as flexible hours. Interested applicants should submit resume and references. All applicants will be reviewed on February 10th, 2025.
