Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our hospital. Monarch Veterinary Hospital operates as both a general practice and a daytime urgent care, and as an Associate Veterinarian you will have both the stability and relation building care of general practice and the thrill of urgent care. At Monarch Veterinary Hospital you will be able to diagnose your patients with IDEXX in house diagnostics (Sedivue Urine Analyzer, Procyte Hematology Analyzer, Catalyst Chemistry Analyzer, VetStat Blood Gas Analyzer, Coag Analyzer), digital radiographs, and ultrasound. An always expanding pharmacy is available to help you choose unique treatment plans for each patient, and an online compounding pharmacy is available for any unique treatment you may need. All new anesthetic and monitoring equipment, and overnight post-op care is available with an experienced technician.
The schedule consists of three 12 hour shifts, with the last hour of your shift is blocked out for finishing records. Compensation will be a production/salary based pay. Full benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, premiums paid by clinic), PTO, CE allowance, scrubs allowance, HSA, licensing reimbursement, and more.
Duties:
- Provide and execute treatment plans for each patient as needed
- Perform veterinary procedures and surgeries as needed
- Complete medical records in a timely manor
- Practice gold standard medicine, and bedside manor
- Client education concerning diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options
Experience:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine
- Proven experience as a veterinarian in a clinical setting
- Current DEA license
