Boiler Repair ASME Shop Fabrication Structural Erection Mechanical Installation
Detailer: The primary objective of this position is the preparation and production of detailed 3D drawings, 2D blueprints, and other necessary design documents through use of Auto‐CAD or similar software. The candidate will work closely with field personnel, engineers and project managers to create necessary drawings that meet all industry regulations and customer requirements; as well as working with vendors and customers as needed to ensure completion of the project on‐time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Review and adhere to design criteria, job specifications, and industry regulations required for each project.
- Review bid packages, drawings and take actual measurements to ensure accurate drawings.
- Preferred experience or willingness to learn how to read prints.
- Desire to understand the field and shop work performed to more accurately develop drawings.
- Create all necessary design documents for the project.
- Review and collaborate with the field/engineers/mangers and external vendors and customers throughout the project as necessary.
- Identify and communicate issues that arise to the field/engineers/managers in a timely manner; and work with the team to come to a solution.
- Travel to job sites to obtain measurements and/or meet with customers to review drawings.
- Able and willing to climb ladders, stairs and scaffold.
- Capable of carrying up to 50lbs.
- Understand and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and company employees.
- Know, understand, and follow professional work practices, company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Team oriented, willing and able to work with a variety of people both internally and externally.
- Display strong written and oral communication skills and employ effective listening skills.
- Following oral and written instructions from both internal office/field personnel and external customers/vendors.
- Attention to detail to ensure each project adheres to customer required specifications.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‐solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work based on necessity, while also meeting all deadlines.
- Utilize strong organization skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Excellent math skills.
- Efficiency with Microsoft Office products and use of smart devices.
- Knowledge of current industry regulations is a plus.
