- Lead Program Development: Design and establish world-class Speech Pathology courses, ensuring accreditation and alignment with contemporary practice
- Champion Research Excellence: Conduct internationally leading research, publish in high-impact journals, and secure competitive research grants
- Inspire and Mentor: Build and lead a dynamic academic team, fostering collaboration and mentoring early career researchers and students
- Drive Strategic Impact: Represent the program on the School Executive, align efforts with university strategy, and build strong industry and clinical partnerships
- A doctoral qualification with recognition as a leading authority in Speech Pathology or a related field
- Proven excellence in curriculum development, course design, and teaching in health professional education
- A strong track record of high-impact research and success in securing competitive funding
- Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire, manage, and grow academic teams
- A commitment to advancing the Speech Pathology profession both nationally and internationally
