Monday Night Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery based out of Atlanta, with a distribution footprint across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina. We currently operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA, a brewpub in Birmingham, AL, a full-service taproom in Nashville, TN, a taproom in Charlotte, NC, and a taproom in Knoxville, TN. Monday Night Social Club (Birmingham, AL) is seeking a part-time Closing Bartender to join our tight knit team. Reports to:

High-level Goals:
- Ensuring customers receive an excellent experience
- Successful completion of opening and closing taproom checklists
- Directing coworkers during shifts on task completion, customer experience, cleanliness, beer releases, and other duties as needed
- Understanding and abiding by federal and state alcohol regulations
- Compliance with sanitization and safety protocols post-COVID19
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily opening and/or closing tasks of taproom:
- Upholding all sanitization, safety and cleanliness protocols including regular surface wipe downs, restroom cleaning, capacity checking, glassware sanitation and more as set by Leadership
- Ensure bars are stocked with clean glassware, supplies and fresh beer
- Ensure merchandise is stocked and displayed correctly
- Ensure all aspects of the taproom are clean and tidy including seating areas, restrooms, bar areas, patios, parking lot etc; pre-opening and through-out the shift, and end of day
- Responsible for the daily maintenance of the POS system
- Responsible for conducting a coworker pre-shift meeting to inform coworkers of new products, promotions, specials and out of stock products
- Follow guidelines to ensure quality of the taproom experience including music selection and volume, video display, games and firepits.
- Maintain, update and print beer menus, and ensure menu boards are up-to-date
- Clean tap lines as directed
- Work closely with Hospitality Operations Director and complete any tasks needed
- Ensure guests have an excellent customer experience
- Consistently coach and direct coworkers on meeting this expectation
- Resolve customer issues timely with hospitality mindset
- Ensure all safety, sanitation and cleanliness SOPs and tasks are executed
- Demonstrating the Monday Night values
- Create a culture of teamwork and accountability where customer experience is a priority
- Understand and ensure compliance of company policy and taproom/brewery regulations by coworkers
- Understand and ensure compliance of federal and state alcohol regulations by coworkers
- Cultivate positive work experiences for coworkers by carrying an attitude of adaptability and team-playerness
- Responsible for accurate finished product and merchandise inventory counts as directed
- Ensure storage areas are clean and organized with proper food/beer rotation
- Weekly product inventory
- Ensure cooler products are stocked and rotated
- Ensure general merchandise for sale is stocked
- Immediately notify HOD of inventory issues or out-of-stock products
- ServSafe alcohol certification

Compensation:
- $5.50/hourly tip pool share
- MNB Guarantee - Monday Night Brewing will guarantee a minimum $15/hourly for all tipped employees when tips do not reach $15/hourly over the course of one week.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 20 pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours in hot, wet, humid and loud environments. This position is extremely physical and demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials

- Must be 21
