Responsibilities
- Greets customers
- Provides information about products
- Serve food and beverages for guests
- Coordinates with the kitchen to ensure timely service and quality of the food
- Collects payments and operates cash registers following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions
- Follows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests
- Ensures a clean and sanitized dining room
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- 1 year of experience as a server in a high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs
- Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
