What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Technical Designer position at Monday Swimwear?

Experience in knitwear or activewear is a must as is 5 years of experience in Technical Design [preferably in apparel] and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, or a related field.
Technical Designer's Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in creating and maintaining detailed technical specifications, including tech packs, garment measurements, and construction methods.
- Participate in fittings, ensure all detail fit notes are recorded.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure design intent is achieved while meeting manufacturing and quality standards.
- Prepare all samples for fitting, including measuring all samples, pulling matching blocks, sending fit list to all cross functional teams
- Assist with communicating with factories to address technical issues related to garment production, ensuring clear and concise communication to resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintain sample tracking and communicate sample status with cross-functional teams.
- Update and maintain technical design documentation throughout the development process, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in tech packs.
- Manage all fit samples, filing, prepping, etc.
- Support senior technical designers in all aspects of the development / production process as needed.
Requirements for Technical Designer :
SALARY RAGE : $65K-$75K
