Job Summary:The essential duties and responsibilities to include managing the financial resources of the Mondi Bags business, strategic planning, conducting resource planning for future needs, and managing the finance department. This critical position monitors business performance, income, cash flow, and expenditure. Manages budgets and forecasts/ outlooks, performs competitor and product analysis and strategic planning. Close cooperation with the European headquarters is required.
Your Mission:
- Support Plant Leaders with insight and analysis to enable a more profitable facility.
- Analyze and accurately report the current month’s financial results to the plant, sales, and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements.
- Manages the financial resources of the company and conducts resource planning for future needs.
- Monitors and prepares the financial and operational budget and sends the report to required stakeholders.
- Manage financial month-end close within 2 days and reconciliations within 5 days. The timeliness and accuracy of these results are critical. The controller is responsible for maintaining and improving this process. The Controller is responsible for a thorough understanding of the contents of the P&L, balance sheet accounts, reconciling accounts, and keeping the region informed of any material issues.
- Coordinates with the senior and junior management of other departments as well as, every department in the organization directly or indirectly associated with the finance department.
Profile description:
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7 – 10 years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum 4 years of plant experience
- Cost Accounting, Reporting, and Variance Analysis experience required.
- High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Strong understanding of manufacturing (ERP) systems
- Over 3 years of SAP experience required.
